Being interested in photography & living in Scotland, you tend to focus on the rich history & beautiful scenery of the Highlands & Islands, when there's actually a lot of it closer to home. In this video I'm at Torwood Castle, which is a ruined castle about 10 minutes away from. Situated in the village of Torwood in the Falkirk Council district of Scotland, the castle was built around 1566 and was once the seat of Clan Forrester. The castle was built by the Lords Forrester, who supplied the Crown with timber.
The castle is undergoing a slow restoration now under the Torwood Castle Trust. Although the castle is not open to the public, it can be enjoyed for photography and walks around the main building and grounds.
Anyways, here is the video. As always I welcome all feedback and comments :). Enjoy!
